Hernan Acosta is a sculptor and scenic fabricator with a focus on character builds, immersive environments, and specialty props. Based in the Chicagoland area, he’s contributed to large-scale projects for clients like Universal and Disney, bringing concept-driven designs to life through foam carving, resin casting and fiberglassing, clay sculpting, and scenic construction.
He holds a BFA in Theatre Arts: Design & Technology from Northern Illinois University and continues to develop his craft at the intersection of art, fabrication, and storytelling. While film prop and creature work remains a major goal, Hernan’s broader ambition is to build a career as a creative fabricator, someone who moves fluidly between mediums, industries, and challenges to make imaginative ideas real.
